Evergreen perennial shrub with soft grey-green aromatic leaves. Essential for stuffings, pork, poultry, and Italian cuisine. Like rosemary, sage is Mediterranean and hates wet feet and humidity. Forms a woody shrub to 60-80cm. Purple, golden, and tricolour ornamental varieties are also culinary.
