Garden Buddy AU references brand names — supermarkets, seed suppliers, garden product brands — across our growing guides, the price tracker, and our editorial content. We reference them for the lawful purpose of factual comparison and consumer information. We are not affiliated with any of them, and we never claim to be unless we say so plainly on the page in question.

Where we show pricing attributed to a named retailer, that figure is compiled from prices the retailer has published on their own public website. It is provided for personal, non-commercial reference only.

How to make a request

Email support@gardenbuddy.au with the subject line “Data takedown request” and include:

• The brand or trademark you represent.
• Your role at the company and contact details, so we can verify the request is genuine.
• The specific URLs or data points you would like amended or removed.
• The reason — incorrect data, a trademark concern, a contractual concern, or something else.

What we commit to

• We acknowledge your email within 5 business days.
• We action verified requests within 10 business days of that acknowledgement.
• We will not make you escalate to legal action before we engage. A reasonable email gets a reasonable answer.
• We keep a record of each request and our response, in case it is ever audited.

What we will and will not do

We will: correct factual errors, remove specific data points on request, make it clear that brand references are factual and not an endorsement, and de-index a page from search if you ask.

We will not: remove honest factual statements, accurate price comparisons, or fair editorial commentary, unless the law requires it. Where there is a genuine dispute we will engage in good faith and try to find a resolution that works.
