Terms of Service

Who we are

Garden Buddy is operated by HELP4BIS (ABN 86 081 237 087), an Australian company based in Dayboro, Queensland. When this document says “we” or “us”, it means that company.

What you get

Access to the features of the membership tier you signed up for, while your subscription is paid up. Free accounts get free-tier access for as long as the service exists.

We aim for 99% uptime but we are a small operation, not Amazon. If we have an outage, we will fix it as fast as we can.

What you owe us

Pay your subscription on time. Do not abuse the service (no scraping at scale, no reselling our data, no trying to break things). Be reasonable in support emails.

Refunds

Annual subscriptions: full refund within 30 days of payment, no questions asked. Email support@gardenbuddy.au.

Monthly subscriptions: no refunds, but you can cancel any time and your access continues to the end of the month you paid for.

Cancellation

Cancel any time from your account page (My Account → Membership → Cancel). Your access continues until the end of the period you paid for. We do not retain your card details after cancellation.

Liability

Garden Buddy provides advice based on the data we have. We make every reasonable effort to be accurate, but we are not responsible for failed crops, dead plants, or financial losses arising from following our advice. Gardening involves judgement; the tool is meant to inform that judgement, not replace it.

Nothing in these terms removes any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a material way, we will email all members at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The current version is always at gardenbuddy.au/terms.
